When I view my page in IE everything is great. However, when I tried Netscape 7, a lot of my graphics only showed the lower half and some not at all. What is causing this? why would only part of a graphic show.

Sometimes this does strange things. ;) till 08-17-2004, 04:00 AM Checked your link, all displays well in Firefox. Takes at least 14 seconds to load, which is too much imo. ;) Also, in IE the top is centered, in Firefox it is not. Other than that, it looks quite alright. boardr00 08-17-2004, 04:03 AM Yes, I have just correct the centered top for firefox and opera. However, it still won't work in netscape. As far as load times go: I know it is way too slow. Do you have any suggestions for speeding it up? till 08-17-2004, 04:17 AM Yeah, optimize your images. :) Take them into ImageReady for example and see what you can do. boardr00 08-17-2004, 04:19 AM Well, I optimized all of them in photoshop (save for web). For each image I used the lowest size that still had decent quality. (gif 128 for logo) (png 8 for menu images) (png 24 or gif 64 for other images) Is this good optimization or is there another program that is better. I don't want my images to look bad. boardr00 08-17-2004, 04:38 AM till- Also, the bgcolor in my text table isn't displaying can you please look at my source? I can't see anything wrong. |
