First time poster.. hopefully I have not broken any rules :)

I am searching for a new host and found some places that fit my criteria. I was wondering if anyone had heard of these hosts and what they may have heard about them(good or bad).

Second.. I have a MIVA database that I also need to house. Would a host mention that they support MIVA or is that something that is usually a part of most web hosting packages?

In response to your questions : representatives of AtomHost frequent this board (Google + Bogdan?) and they should be able to answer your questions. From what I have seen they are extremely polite and you should be right with them. Unfortunately I haven't heard of the other hosts, though A1-Hosting strikes a bell. You might like to do a search on this forum and see if it turns anything up on the hosts.

Secondly, if a host supports Miva, then the vast majority of the time they will say that they support Miva, as there is a noticeable demand for it.

A-1 hosting is pretty good (then) I dont know about now. I hosted with them like a long time ago.

Now, I think the response is quite slow. You might want to ask them a sample question to see how fast their response is.
