Hello,
Can anyone tell me where I can get more information about setup a web server (Apache? IIS?) (especially for web hosting businness) in technical term. I think if I order a VDI server. I still need to learn more about the actual works of the server. Any suggestion? Any forum like this which talk about web server in technical term?
Thanks

You may want to start with a more automated solution like Alabanza. Much of the technical stuff was managed for us at first until we started moving up the learning curve. Now, with root access we can do some of the customizations ourselves without worrying about the fundamentals which are still handled by Alabanza.
Not everything is rosy for Alabanza hosts, but for someone like yourself, it might be the right investment.

If you would like to have your own dedicated box while on the other hand you do not have server management skill, I suggest you to hire someone to do that.
If recently you are not familiar with Unix varian, DNS and TCP/IP concept, learning server management (included security, setting apache) is not easy.
If you are a newbie and you would like to have your own box at VDI, consider to buy it through Ultraspeedusa.
I'm sure that Daniel will help you.
(for your reference: I didn't work for them :D )
Thx.

I hightly recommend Install RedHat on your PC and setup apache is easy If you are well documented. Go to alabanza etc. is easier but you 'll be their slave in the future because all your customer's data will reside in their servers and not easily moved.

Right on cbaker! RedHat Linux Unleashed is an excellent reference.
In regards to Apache, you might want to check out this tutorial, it is very informational:

should I buy Unleashed 7 ?
Teechnically RH7 still has quite a few bugs in it; that said it's very similar to RH6 and you should get RH7 just to be up to date with everything.
Keep your eye out for errata corrections posted on the official publisher's site as well as common Linux sites like Slashdot or Linux Newbie to be up to date with the latest fixes and patching.
