I have a reseller account and the control panel is Ensim WEBppliance Pro 3.5.20-26. It takes about 70 seconds to create a new name based site. All the commands seem slow. It takes 10 seconds to get the site manager list. I only have 6 domains in the list, it not like it's compiling a huge list of hundreds of domains.

Do these times seem reasonable? It's doesn't to me but maybe it is. I know it's frustratingly slow if I need to do much work in the control panel

Those times are about right. Whats the big deal?... So it takes 70 seconds to add a site....

You might want to as your host to update Ensim though as thats a very old version. Its gone through many versions since then and its now up to 4.0.1.

No big deal at all. As I said in my post, I wondered if my times were reasonable. You say they are and I appreciate your input. If you would have said your create times are under 10 seconds, then I know that 70 seconds is probably too long and may indicate other problems.

Thanks for your help.

It does take a long time and it uses a lot of server resources to do it.  If you visit a site on your server while you are adding a site as admin, you will notice a slow down.  This is one of the reasons I am not crazy about Ensim.

Depends what servers you have. Our Dual Xeons dont experience any slowdown when people are using the panel to add/edit/remove sites. Our old P4's did though.

Ensim is the slowest control panel in the market. I take it from experience, comparing it with either Plesk or CPanel.
