Hello guys, I am currently with managed.com and very happy with the server, no major issues for the time I have been with them and its about 5 months, the server is a $60 Celeron 2.4 Ghz server, with 512 MB Ram without any control panel.
I am planning to take a new server in the next month or so, and wanted to go with a new provider, just don’t want to put all my eggs in one box!
For the new server I have a max budget of $75 could any one recommend some good providers those have good connectivity to south-asian counties and the U.S, I get really good results with abovenet which managed uses.
The specs that I need are
2.4 Ghz Celeron or a AMD 2400XP (Prefer the AMD over Celeron any day)
Min 512 MB Ram
400GB/month bandwidth (I currently use about 150 GB but want to be on the safe side)
Linux OS (Prefer Redhat 9)
No control panel needed
The option of PAYPAL is a must, the server can be unmanaged but I prefer a semi-managed.
I don’t need a Control panel as I would use this server just for my personal sites….. but if I can get one for free it’s a Bonus!
