I have been using super micro server lately and have been very pleased with them, also what do you guys/gals use for linux RAID? The adaptec 2100S we have been having alot of problems.
I am talking SCSI RAID's btw...
If you have any good low cost places to buy supermicro servers I would appreciate it.
If you can't post it here, just email me at adam@mybizhosting.com
Thanks :-)

I think this is in the wrong thread but anyway here goes:
Supermicro is very stable, solid, servers and I suggest you stay with them. As for raid, Promise makes the best raid cards as far as stability and features.

I will agree that supermicro are quality servers. I have a few 6010H's and they are wonderful. They take a beating and keep on ticking. As for raid...I wish I knew more about that :( Btw I purchase my servers from www.acmemicro.com If you have a vendor you use with better prices please post it :)
Thanks

I am actually looking for another place because AcmeMicro has sent me TOTAL CRAP over 3 times. Causing major delays for us and our clients.
So that is why... Does anyone have a better place? That test the server before it leaves..

Their prices are excellent, but what I really want to know if they are reliable and test their servers before they leave.
