I think WHT should consider a vulnerabilities forum for the posting of exploiits/backdoors in popular hosting scripts/software/applications, kernel updates and so on.

Like the recent putty exploit, it was posted here the same day it was made public but there's still people now more than a week later just finding the topic and updating their copy.

I know people should be responsibile for keeping ontop of these things themselves, but you can never have too many security bulletins right? and with the amount of informed and knowledgeable people there are here posting 24/7 i think it would turn out to be a pretty good service with most things posted pretty quickly.

Bad Idea.

The reasons is some hackers visit WHT and would be a good place for them to find exploits and hack other hosts for the ones that don't know about the vulnerabilities. Not every host visits WHT, but alot of them do. Its just not the best idea because hackers could look for other hosts as i've said previous could use it for the worst.
