You'll probably get more bids if you lowered the openning bid. Servers are pretty cheap these days. I can get a newer one for the same price or less.

It isn't an auction unless someone bids on it! So make it look more attractive.. (the auction, not the server :) ) Lower the starting price.. by $200 or so (?).. add a "buy it now" option.. and set a reserve (only if you don't want it going so low.)

you dont pay retail as auctions

think about car auction u can get a nice bmw for cheap

Auction has ended with no bids. Maybe try just doing the no reserve thing, gets people excited that they can bid $40 on it, though at the end there is a frenzy, heh.
