I am writing a general report on web hosting and would appreciate anyone posting links of sites where I can get reference material. Everything from FAQs to detailed explanations about aspects of hosting would be helpful.

The audience for this paper will be company owners who want to host a site, of varying complexities, but do not know about hosting options or the factors in making the choices.

My company does not do hosting. We are technical consultants who assist companies in their IT needs so this is not advertising for any particular hosting company.

I haven't read it myself, but from the description on Amazon and the author's site (http://www.rds.com/books/hosting/index.html) it sounds like it is coming from the same angle that you are trying to cover.
