Hi.

I have a server 2.8GHZ and 1GB ram, 80GB Hard drive.
I do have cpanel on it with the stuff it comes with. Nothing else special.
My kernel is modified to accept more buffers and connections.
The problem I am noticing is the memory load.
After a while, the memory reaches 50% and more, is that normal? I have to restart the server to go back to 15%.

The OS I have is free bsd.

Please advise.

It's not unusual, most of your memory will be cached, aslong as you're not using aload of swap then it's fine, post the output of "top"

I noticed that cpanel consumes a lot of memory. I don't know if the others share that with me.
