I'm thinking of hosting at Cyberwings (http://www.cyberwings.com) or at the new reseller of cyberwings Webguyz (http://www.webguyz.ws). Webguyz offer cheaper hosting on the plesk servers but they are very new. Also I do not know if you need a plesk instead of a cobalt if you do not want to change a lot of things often except maybe password protected directories.
Can anyone give me some advise?

I would tend to not go with a host using the RaQ control panel, as it isn't nearly as powerful as CPanel, Plesk or Ensim.

I have "played" with all control pannels. Why do you say that cobalt gui is not a valid option?

Yes, its not as powerfull as plesk/ensim/cpanel but its VERY stable...and works very nice.

Usually Cobalt servers are NOT so saturated (websites running on it) as other servers...

That's because the cobalt machines can't handle as many accounts. The hardware on them is underpowered. IMHO.

I'm pretty sure you can use small scripts at hotscripts.com for passprotected dirs, if you really need to, so I'm not sure it is a big issue. Which do you like/need.

The whole discussion of coabt being underpowered is moot and a tangent. It doesn't matter what spec. the machine is, if it is overloaded, it is overloaded, so let's get away from that topic please.

The bigger issue is whether it can handle his site or not. Providers generally limit the percentage of resources your one site can use (as they should), and the only issue is that you may reach that point sooner on a lesser-powered machine, but if that isn't really an issue, then you are fine.
