Hi,
At Adept Web Hosting we offer free Gmail accounts with most packages, and we just had a client who paid, received a Gmail account, and then had the money chargebacked due to a stolen credit card. Does anyone know of a way to retrieve that Gmail account? Also, how do you think I should handle payments from people that use free e-mail addresses or pay through StormPay (I am yet to have a chargeback with PayPal).
Thanks for your help!

Hi,
I do have some chargebacks in my PayPal account and 2Checkout account.
I am afraid that this is hard to avoid if you are doing online business.

I don't get it. You sell gmail accounts? Since when that is such a valuable thing?

He gives them away when people order accounts. I suggest giving them after a 60 day period.

UltaUnixNET:
I don't know if they do or not honestly, but we were back at BLCC before NSCNAP acquired us (and still do for those who continue to inquire about the offer). Think mama Google is going to put us in timeout for this? ;)

I don't think Google would have a problem with giving away Gmail accounts with hosting since people are selling them on eBay everyday and I haven't heard of any of them getting in trouble for it.

You need a decent anti-fraud system...
Here's a quote of what is on my website:
Please note your IP (*.*.*.*) is being logged and checked for IP location. If the location of your IP and the location of your PayPal account do not match, we will be forced to reject your payment. Your IP will also be checked for potentional proxy activity. You don't have to worry about this unless you are using an anonymous proxy server to connect trough. If this is the case, please disable your proxy server and refresh this page.
The email address you enter here MUST be the same as your PayPal address in order to accept your order.
Please try not to use free email services such as Hotmail and Yahoo, it will cause us to investigate your payment more deeply and will slow down the activation of your account.
