Does anyone run ads with free hosting?

How much monthly revenue do you get on average?

Whats the avarage revenue/client?

You might be better getting in contact with a free hosting site, and asking them directly.

Most ad agencies don't allow you to place ads on the sites you do not control directly. The ad agencies that do allow you to place ads on sites you do not control will eventually get around to deleting your account due to inappropriate content, non-English content, spam, etc. Even with this being said, there is more money in running a fwp with a decent business plan than running a paid host that sells sub $5-10/month accounts.

Something like adsense would work extremely well.

I run a small site for blogs (I use Mambo), just started it four months ago and right now I've got 74 users and 8 ad clients.

Revenue from those clients is US$ 248 per month, or 3.35 per user. I've ran projections using the growth of the four months and I expect baseline within five more months.

Dunno if that helps, but hey, it's all I've got.

I just put google adsense on takeouttherage.com and in a couple of months I've made around 40$. I'm looking into fastclick.com as well, my site isnt nearly big enough to make a lot of money off of google.

We use Google Adsense on our main site webdogpro.com and it’s our main source of income for the site and our operating costs are about $500-700 a month. But its worth it we still makes some money out of it at the end.

I wouldn't think the hosting company would allow this either if it is free. I bet they have in there terms some place that you are not allowed to profit from the site. Ads would fall under this. Check TOS out for your host.
