I'm tired of the contant probing of my servers which seems to originate mostly from Asia Pacific Network. Can someone provide insight into blocking their ip range using APF firewall and also if it is advisable to do so (that is, are there any downsides I'm missing?)

Thanks!

not what you are asking for, but turning off ICMP is the easiest way to "disappear" from the network.

APNIC IP Ranges: http://www.apnic.net/db/ranges.html

advisable?... that's up to you. I'm sure you're aware of the consequences of blocking all of those IPs and I'm sure you're aware of the risk of not blocking them.

Firewall is just one level of security.
