Simply filed a complaint with the Attorney General in Ontario. Once Paysystems gets wind the Attorney General is involved, they will do everything possible to settle.
Here is the URL to file a complaint....
attorneygeneral.jus.gov.on.ca/english/about/ag/
You might also want to file a complaint with your state attorneys office. They oten work in conjunction with their cross border counterparts.

I will be filing a complaint, I'm from Toronto, Ontario.... right next to the airport actually... and I'm going to be on top of this till the very death. My company is extremely small and a hit like this to my merchant account is like instant death, thank god I have some good credit!

We will also be filing a complaint as we are also in the Toronto Area...
Techbrink we should go in on a lawsuit against these paysystems folks if they do not do any settlements for us in the next couple days. The more people we can get in invovled in this potential lawsuit the better, I think anyways.

so on the Attorney General's website where do you file this claim ??
Is it possible to file the complaint on that page even though we're not based in the US and Canada?
Is it possible for us to get the list of customer cards from them? So we can migrate the customers easily to a new merchant easily.

twrs, legally i don't think you are allowed to do that... although I would check with your lawyer. The attorney general is mainly a safeguard for us Canadians. The attorney general COULD help us fight for our rights.
Also, jimmy, there is one problem... my biz is not registered with the gov't, so... yeh... im not sure how I will get back my money. Overall they did do a credit check on ME and ONLY ME and I told them that it wasn't registered and they were okay with getting the account.
I still want my $200 they owe me, im in queue to make sure i get my account closed and funds transferred, and I'm not sleeping until then (even if i work in 7 hours).
BTW, print out everything you can. I've printed out almost all transactions, except I haven't printed them out in detail, as in transaction by measly transaction.
I'm so frustrated on what to do... my credit cards are sky high right now because of the freeze.
Okay, I'm downloading the data from their MCC now.
Anyone knows how to get just a clean list of all recurring customers without redundant transactions for each customer? Thanks!

I was very lucky in this case. I made proper use of the post back URL for all payments.
I captured everything to a DB. The only thing I do not have is CC info. Of course nobody gets that.
