I am looking for stock images that can be used in templates and aren't overly expensive. Most of the stock sites I have been to don't seem to fit my needs. Can anyone offer any advice or direction?

what type of pics and res are you looking for?

Where have you looked for photos?

I don't necessarily need high res, anything over comp res (obviously), type of image would be of the technological ilk, for the most part. I've been to loads of sites, all of the big ones, the problem I'm finding is that legally they tend to prohibit the use for such things as templates, as in that context I am technically signing the rights over to the purchaser.

Have you tried google image search and then contacting the site owner for possible consent of image use?
