Due to rapid growth and expansion, 1-800-HOSTING is hiring an additional Technical Support Representative. Candidates need to be self starters, disciplined and very reliable. The available position is fast paced, dynamic and highly demanding. Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential for this position as our primary focus is on providing the highest level of customer service in the industry.
Individuals must have at least one (1) year of prior experience within the web hosting industry.
All hires must work from our facilities located in Dallas, Texas.

-Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
-Ability to independently research issues and locate solutions.
-Excellent PC based hardware skills.

Responsibilities:
-Present professional and positive interface to customers via phone and e-mail interactions.
-Provide technical support for Linux and Windows server, coordinate resolutions, offer educational assistance, provide status updates to the client, notify client of issue resolution and obtain client concurrence of acceptable solution.
-Collaborate with different departments to oblige client requests.
-Manage client relationships in pre- and post-sales efforts.
-Initiate client issue tracking as well as maintain client correspondence and issue updates with the necessary tools available.
-Escalate issues as needed to higher level support resources while remaining the client point of contact and manage the communications and expectations of the client.
