Considering the RedHat situation, which OS would you recommend underneath WHM/Cpanel out of the below three:
1.) Stick with RedHat 9.0 despite possible future lack of support, etc.?
2.) Fedora?
3.) FreeBSD?
Which one do you recommend and why?
Out of those i'd recomend redhat 9.
Fedora is on the move, and constent core updates would cause to much havoc for a server IMHO.
FreeBSD is a solid system however, its a headache to get it working properly with cpanel. Its just problem after problem.
Not in the list, but what we use, www.centos.org which is a rebuild of the RHEL source. It works a charm with cpanel, and if you don't need the hand holding redhat, its the best of the best for stability.

Thanks for the replies, we are leaning towards Redhat, but more opinions are welcome.

CentOS is good... we use it on a few servers (+cPanel) and no problems whatsoever.

We use FreeBSD with cPanel, and do so on almost 50 servers. People talk of untold problems with the FreeBSD version but we're yet to see anything too serious. For us, FreeBSD has just meant nicer loads, fewer security issues and generally better behaved servers than we ever experienced with RedHat.

Hmm,, i would like to hear more about FreeBSD vs Redhat if anyone has any info on weakness, strengths of the two on servers withwhm/cpanel,etc.

I'd suggest a search on this.
My 2p is that the limiting factor in any OS is usually the person using it... pick which one you (or your server admin) are most familiar with.
