hello
my server is getting too much spam
as a fast/efficient solution, i'm thinking about binding EXIM on a different IP, that no domains resolve to it and tell my clients to update their information
can anyone tell me if it's possible (how) to bind it on a secondary IP?
thanks

Do you understand that the reason your users get spam is because they have domains that resolve and that accept mail? Unless you'd like to disable all mail receipt functions for all your users, this is not an answer.

the problem is not SPAM TO my users
it's spam that pass thru my server, but to other users (not mine)

So your server is not getting too much spam, as you indicated in your original post, but sending too much spam. How do you know this? Are you getting spam complaints? Did you look at the logs to see if it is a user sending it? Did you look at the logs to see if there is a script being exploited? Changing exim is still not your answer. Fix the problem. Don't go through a bunch of gyrations because the mail server is doing exactly what it is supposed to do.
