I would be glad if you could make a reply on this questions as I could not find them in this forum history:

As a host what kind of a hosting packages do you sell most (Price, space and traffic would be enough)? Or in another way: What is the most popular hosting plans on the internet?

The answer could be:
My 2 most popular plans are:
1 - $5 monthly, 50 MB space and 1 GB traffic.
2 - $10 monthly, 200 MB space and 5 GB traffic.

Thanks!

311, I should have put it as "cheap." I thought inexpensive meant cheap, or am I wrong? Sorry!

Still, 10 gigs of transfer going by dedicated server standards is about $4/gig. If you were going to offer a plan for $10 monthly with 10 gigs, even 5 I think that you'd be cheating yourself. And, I'd be willing to put money on that if your clients did use all 10 gigs of transfer in one month paying 10 dollars monthly on it, that you'd suspend their account or ask them to upgrade.

Yes, now I agree with you, I also read it as "expensive" and not as you wrote "inexpensive", thats because we want to fly before we have wings :)

Thanks!

For us it is without a doubt our Economy 30 plan. It is our lease expensive at $4.99 per month - which is probably why it is so popular. Next most popular is our Premium 250, which is our least expensive plan with DB support ($14.99).

It seems that our customers try to keep their costs to a minimum by going with the least expensive plans in the category of service they need.

Take care,

Brian

Always depends on what the client needs and how much money they have for web hosting..
