Hi!

I'm from Singapore looking for 3rd party payment processor for my small webhosting business.

The features I'm looking at should include recurring payments and acceptance of international merchants. I'm not interested in 2CO, Paysystems, Paypal or ikobo.

I've taken a look a CCavenue and they seem to charge reasonable rates. My concern will only be the availability of recurring billing. Anyone have experience with them?

Worldpay is actually my first choice if not for the hefty upfront and as for recurring billing, they have what they called Future Pay. If I'm not wrong that will be another additional fee :bawling:

What else could be available for a small fry like me? :D

cyberultra,

The start-up and yearly fees is quite steep right? And the fraud prevention features is never mentioned on their site.

I do not know much about them, you might need to contact them personally to ask for details.

However it's good to know there's another alternative, and I believe the reputation and reliability of NETS can't be beaten :)

Though I have not personally call them as yet. They never reveal their fees from the website. Someone in SGWebhostingtalk did mentioned on a combo deal (debit/cc) for like SG$600 per year. But there's a set up for something like SG$450

Can't argue more :D I'll definitely go for it once we've fly, but not now ... not yet :stickout:

What are you processing now - monthly volume - per transaction?

Frankly speaking it's too embarassing even mention :D Currently I simply host couples of friend's sites and targetting at the SG market where most paid by cheques. But I'll be getting a server at a US data centre soon and expect to serve international clients as well.

No worries. Any reason you are not interested in 2CO - get something set up pretty quickly so you can accept payments & then take it from there?

Plus I realized that after i asked - it probably is not something you would want to post. It's just that when we take the apps - we know but never disclose it of course. It's just part of doing business - something that I never really think about, you know.

Well, they could be my last resort. It's just that their horror stories puts me in a cautious mode

Nope no particular reasons at all other than that. I guess I'd like to know what other options I have other than the ones I already knew.

Anyway, my recent findings shows CCAvenue do not accept webhosting companies??

(At their site)

Yes. We do not offer Internet merchant status for the following:

*
Adult Sites
*
Internet Casinos
*
Pyramid Sales
*
Lottery Tickets
*
Web Hosting Companies
*
Sending of Money/Cash Advances
*
Merchant Account Factoring
*
Alcohol, Firearms & Drugs
* Goods/Services prohibited by law or card associations

I guess this thread should be close then
