Will the grsecurity patches work with this, or are they tied to an individual kernel release ?

i've patched 2.4.27 with the existing grsecurity for 2.4.26. there's one or two hiccups (Makefile and include/linux/sysctl.h.rej) but they're easily rectified. it works after reboot too :)

however, i don't know whether any of the changes in 2.4.27 have side effects that affect grsecurity. you may want to wait till the grsecurity team review and release an updated patch. cheers :)
