MBSHost is continuing its free developer site accounts to those who qualify.
Please contact us at cs@mbshost.com if you are interested in these opportunities, or if these guidelines and FAQ's do not answer your questions.
Simple guidelines.
Must be a current customer with a paying account (Active Web Site) of a hosting company offering you Linux platforms.
You must work in a programming technology within the Linux environment, or be a graphic designer with proven professional behavior, and success.
Script sellers are welcome to apply, as well as interactive forum based sites.
To save the conversation (Questions) a small faq has been produced to answer some of your questions, should you find the offer of interest.
How much space will I be given?
500 Megabytes of Transfer
25 Megs for your web site
20 Megs for MySQL
1 E-mail account
1 FTP account
CGI, Cron, full web-mail facilities, and web based control panel.
Do I need to have a domain name?
No, but it is preferred.
You can use a sub-domain of MBSHost (Special Restrictions related to content and linking, common sense rules abound)
Does it cost me anything?
No, your account will not cost you anything while on MBSHost's servers if you stay within your sites allotment.
How can I increase my space, without having to pay?
Glad you asked! =) You can increase your space, and services by referring a successful sale to MBSHost. This will double your current space, and service allotments by 100 Percent.
How long will it take to get my site running?
Depending on your qualifications, and your current sites content please expect up to 2 days to confirm your qualification.
Will I have to advertise MBSHost on my site?
Yes, a simple text link stating that this account is generously provided by, or hosted by will be sufficient.
