Tell me - is this humanly possible? Where does this guy get his source from? This is MAD!!!

See what I mean...?

This guy is going to drive everyone out of business, and worse still, if he's going down, he's going to take down the reputation for everyone else!

Someone should do a check on such guys and find out where they get their stuff from...

Oh, and here's someone running such auctions at the present too:

You know what I think the joke is? Check the 2nd guy's feedback and you'll see that he had actually bought from the 1st guy and is reselling for him - using all that cheap 'unlimited' gimick!!

hostgrid and gotos both trace to donhost, and I think there's no need to discuss it further.

Yeah, that's the thing, see. I did the traceroute too, so how exactly are these guys surviving? Because that price is WAYYYYY too low to cover their monthly costs even, let alone for a year!

I have read posts from some members of this forum who contribute a great deal. However, most of the hosts that visit these forums are unprofessional. I think most members here just flame other businesses in a pathetic attempt to gain new customers and/or make themselves appear superior.

I'm getting tired of reading posts about a stolen web design, unlimited bandwidth, and *****. Do you really expect everyone to believe your looking out for the consumer?

Find something more useful to do with your time... like supporting your own paying customers. Lets see how many people start to flame me now, lets see who gets their feelings hurt :bawling: .

If you haven't noticed, I'm not a web host. What amuses me is the fact that people like those eBayer can stay in business! I've had no itentions to promote myself whatsoever.

I mean, come on, guys? How can those people stay in business? It just makes the ENTIRE hosting community look bad, not just themselves. These people are jeapodising the market!

And yes, I am concerned about the consumers. It's not fair that they are not in the know about all these 'unlimited' marketing ploys, believe that they can get 150Gb of transfer for less than $20 a year and all that. When their sites go down or when their resellers go down, it's they who really suffer. It's not the cost that matters, but the amount of time that they've put into their sites. The searching for a new host will definitely take a few days, and to restore all their lost data might be impossible. Someone should set up a site for potential hosting customers to do some research before they jump in.

I suggest you get your facts straight before you come out and torch someone. Lurkers like you should try to make an active contribution instead of finding a chance to jump in and complain.

Avium, not a webhost? The following thread would suggest differently  . Uh oh, another webhost caught in a lie, hell he even denies being a host :D .

I think people need to stop commenting on the threads themselves so much and concentrate on the thread topics.
