Ok. I run a newer game server rental company that also offers web design and hosting.

I would like to ask if anyone would think its a good idea to partner with a reseller at the planet that i can negiogiate prices with and only use them

The demand for my servers changes each month and in my first 2 months i have expanded alot

Bryan, what would stop you from partnering directly with TP? Just thinking it would cut out the middle-man....that is unless you are wanting to use the reseller for support.

Well we are not big enough yet to have our own co-los. We just would like to partner with a reseller who basically can manage the server hardware for us.

Tp will host dedicated if you like, not managed though.

tomsyer and angelnetworkz have been getting some buz lately on WHT. Do a search and check them out.

AngelNetworkz was one of our choices becuase they offer exactly what we needed but they wont take CPanel off the server without making us pay for it. In other words, we pay for it with it not installed.

TomSyer was my other top choice but I have been told that they are no longer putting their new servers at TP and the servers are liked there arent compatible with RH9.

Its been a lose lose situation. Haha. Thanks for your posts.

angelnetworkz still has good prices, even with the cPanel install included. I think they will still at least match pricing.

What do you mean match pricing?

You think they can match the price of TomSyer?

Not match prices between them. Seems to be in line if you take into account the server management portion of the server.

Is not the TP's Gold package pretty much managed as the going definition (OS/sec updates, etc)?

Or or he looking for the full on proactive management scheme?
