Hi, I'm looking for a host with these requirements...
-150-200mb space
-around 6-8 gig of bandwidth
-FTP
-CGI
-control panel
-subdomains
Other stuff are a bonus like email, mailing list, PHP, my SQL and aren't really nessasary though it'll be best if included ^_^. My budget is around US50-60. My friend Arwen need the same thing like me except for less bandwidth and her budget is around US40-50.
I also need good support and a reliable host ^_^. Is that too much? Please recommend, thanks!

Do you mean a budget of $50-60/month or year?

Year, sorry I didn't say that
Chinese/Japanese hosts are ok since I can understand a bit Chinese/Japanese.

I always recommend these guys:
1. Valuablehost.com
2. AffordableHost.com
3. Hostyard.com (personal fav, I think it is about to be their one year aniversary)
4. ADEHost.com (I dunno much about these, but looks good)
5. Cyberwings.com (just because I pissed them off here it is, hope this makes up for it)
My list so far...

Sorry for the off topic
But why do you recommend a host that never tried?
Also, that is against the forum's rules
Participants may not use discussions to recommend or praise other product or services, or any company, unless you have directly used them before. This includes companies recommending other companies.

I agree with Jedito and Raqworld.
Too often recommendations are made with absolutely no experience with the *service*
New hosts pop up in here DAILY, Calintz...AND their friends do too!
Keep that in mind when host searching on this board :D
Check your potential host out before signing up...and just do your own research....I think you would be happier in the end.
Happy New Year :D

Hmm....I tried using directories and they didn't do me any good >_<. I prefer finding out which hosts are good by people's experiences, this is better than companies recommending themselves right?
How about this? I get some of the hosts that I'd thought about and you can gimme suggestions and POVs? Here's one I found earlier...

It seems too good to be true!
