I have my own reseller account for web design clients with about 20 low traffic sites. I want a similar backup/stand-by account with my own two personalised nameservers which would only be actually used (as the domains 3rd and 4th nameservers) if my normal host's server is down to display a holding page and a simple contact form for each client's site.

I obviusly wouldn't want to pay for a full reseller account which I may never use. Any suggestions as to how this could be accomodated or how I could set this up with minimal cost?

A UK based backup server would be preferred.

Basically you do need a full reseller account, and you need the domains set up as if everything was going to be used. I'm not sure, but I don't think you're going to find many bargins in this area. I'd just look for a inexpensive reseller account, best you can find I suppose.
