To my believe HU card is that card in your DirecTV reciever... if you get your card you will se the first to char is "HU" the H card are for like Dish Network and DSS recievers, witch don't get EMCed that much, last one was 11/27 though, a next one won't be for a long time now.. and according to what I am reading, this thing I bought should be able to program those too :)

Well I hope you are in the Country of Canada or Mexico with that HU Loader, because it is illegal to actually put that thing to use in the great place of the USA!

But need I remind people, say something is not possible someone will prove you wrong.But they cant cure cancer fastas they can get a fix for the latest ECM that Dave has send down, not that I am into all that understand you. I do understand basic concepts.

Its like the CD's I think Columbia came out with that were un-rippable....riiiiteee....its called a DVD-Encryption, so if you got a DVD player you can rip, which in accordance to the law in the USA, you may have one backup copy of any audio, video, and so fourth, but yall if you ever program or make something you get the idea you really dislike Piraters.....

So just keep that in mind, people work and try to feed their family. And if you distribute your copy of things, its just not right, and I dunno, I wont say I am perfect because no one is, but think of someone else and whose energy went into making it

Time for my nice long story about this type of things. When I was doing free hosting, i hosted a domain of a man who sold those. I had not gone to the site, but then one day I got a nice, very long, email from a lawyer in seattle. To put it simpily he stated anyone involved in this is subject to 225k in fines a few other things that I forgot. At anyrate, I had to get a lawyer and he responded and whatnot. As it turns out he just wanted the site deleted from me, which was good because it would of cost 60k just to defend myself in seattle. I dont know what happend to the guy, but the moral of this story is do NOT F**k around with this stuff. They do come after people/

Did anyone see the first CD they came out with that suppose to be unrippable? The first CD was Fast and Furious, the name of the CD was something like that. Ohh well to the point, on TechTV "Screensavers" it was funny how in just 1 hour they were able to rip the CD and make a copy of the CD and then on a DVD, it was just funny.

Well I hosted one of those sites not to long ago, and as long as they have their site done correctly it is perfectly legit. Now if they offer the files, and your server is in the USA then you are kinda screwed, and lawyers have the abillty to do that...But I did quit hostign them, because like you, I do not have time nor the money to get sued, I mean the 5 dollars a month was nothing to 60k ya know...

Screensavers on TechTV is like the show...I love it when they had a pic of a woman and they showed how to hide the text in there it was sweet, I never knew how to do that....

...and besides learning all kinds of fun stuff on The Screen Savers, Pat Norton is like the CUTEST thing. I would love to have just 10 minutes to talk to the guy, I think it would be heavenly to both gaze into those beautiful eyes AND carry on an intelligent computer related conversation at the same time!!!!!!

Hey you guys,

Let me just let you guys know some info.. I follow the DSS scene pretty close

1) HU cards are worth crap. They are going to get smoked soon and there is no unlooper.
2) H cards are the only way to go with an emulation.

DirectTV is raiding the hell out of the places that currently make these devices are winning court cases so if you do host these people I would try to get them off of your server ASAP.

They are also taking all of the receipts and going after the customers so I hear.
