Im new to these forums and need help in selecting a host. Right now my site is on geocities which was a huge mistake. The more I learn about building a website, the more I realize how bad of a decision I have made. Now I need a host with certain specifications:

1. Has to have access to cgi
2. Perl
3. At least 50 mb space
4. At least 2 GB transfer
5. Priced between 10 and 20 dollars a month
6. SSL and ASP

Please give me some help. I need to be able to have a message board, password protected pages, form responder, etc... Im looking for a respectable and honest host that I can use. Thanks for any information you can provide me with.

So far after searching through different threads and posts I have come across 2 hosts that seem favorable to people that include what im looking for. hostway.com and hostgo.com if anyone has opinions on either of them please let me know before I make my decision

Your budget and requirments open the door to a few very good hosts.

I can personally recommend VO, but I don't know if the offer ASP, probably they do with their Plesk servers, but not sure either.

I recommend CrystalTech http://www.crystaltech.com They use WIN2000 servers so you can use ASP. You also have a cgi-bin (they have Activestate Perl installed) for cgi scripts. I have 2 sites with them.
