Since I am still working on my NOC here is what I currently need.

A connection!

I want at least a t3 connection. Can someone tell me the equitment i need where i can get it from, how much will it cost and how much the connection is on average.

Full T3 for about $25K+ and I think I'll stop there. SOme may be able to offer you usage based T3 (up to 45 Mbps), but tell everyone where you are so they get an idea of the providers in the area.

Don't forget the cost of the router, a Cisco 3640 with the appropriate cards will run you about $10K ($4k-$5k on Ebay).

I'm not sure if Chicken was including local loop charges in his estimate...but you will have those as well.

Of course, even with all that money spent you still have a single connection running into a single point of failure.

My suggestion: Asses your current bandwidth needs, and, if you are not using 45 Megs of bandwidth opt for 2 fractional DS3s from 2 providers. You will save yourself a lot of headaches in the future.

From my research. I think its safe to say expect around 15k for a t3 with NO LOOP.
