I just purchased a Plesk 7 resller account from DIY Hosting.net I am now interested in installing Modernbill. It says that I need an SSL certificate. Do I have this or do I need to get one?
Should I pay $50 to Modernbill to have the install it or can it be done another way? Thanks, Ian
P.S. I need to integreate it with, Plesk 7, ModernAuthorize, and enom. Thanks.
It isn't hard to install, just follow the instructions, although configuring it can be a pain.
As for the SSL certificate, either your host provides you with one to share (not the best solution for selling hosting, since it would not show your own domain as the secured domain), or you need to buy one and install it. There are Geotrust certificates for less than $50/year available if you look around.

the install adds "MB" to the admin accont name. You do not use your email to login at admin.
Will save you a few minutes if you know this.

Comodo doesn't own the root certificate, caution there.
Talked to modernBill, one of the near future addon modules will be SSL sales and install. Talk to them, might be able to at least find out what company they will use and get in early to this option.

There's no caution there, whatsoever.
I'm not sure as to why you would think there is, either.

Drop us a ticket if you need help installing MB, or your certificate. Worldinsite is correct, we offer Comodo Certificates @$35, via our partnership with ComodoGroup.
