I found this site about 2 days ago, great site! Have been thinking about opening a hosting biz for sometime now. I already have a plan as well as started design of the website. But now after reading countless posts here, im a bit weary. I have no ( well very little) linux experience. I was looking at rackshack for the dedicated server, with the ensim cp. Now my ? for all is there any faq like page or anything where i might learn about configuring the server? Adding user sites? I have been working with windows all my life, I run win2k adv server at home and have some experience network wise but not in a linux enviorment. I am hoping some of you might be able to help me with all this and guide me in right direction. Also raq, good or bad idea, or just go with the white box from rackshack, not like i know how to use either one. Raqs hardly require linux knowledge, although some knowledge is never a bad idea. They're not such powerfull machines though with their 450 MHZ processors and max 512 MB ram but they are definatly NOT as weak as some people might lead you to believe. I currently have one running with 130 sites on it, pushing a total of 140 GB's of transfer each month without problems.
