View Full Version : Grrrrr. Does anyone know ANYTHING about the directi API?

The directi php API is driving me absolutely crazy.

I am a php programmer, and still the api documentation reads like a manual to a space shuttle (at least in my opinion).

I do NOT want to go any other route but php, so please do not suggest perl, asp, c++ etc.. I need this to work in our existing platform of software, thus php is a must.

Does anyone know anything about it, how to intergrate it into your site, etc....it's diving me nuts.

nothing at their docs?

i'd say go with enom best API and best documentation ever!

we actually have an enom account, but even after assistance from enom themselves, we continued to get parse errors in their API.

In addition, directi has lower domain costs.

LOL, it's out of topic Bashar. :D

Back to the topic:
I have a similar situation like you ANMMark.
I wonder is anyone out there can provide some simple template for it.

I think the problem with both companies enom and directi, is that they ASSUME you can understand their jargon.

The problem is, even as a php programmer myself, I'm having a very difficult time understanding a damn bit of it.

This is why it's driving me nuts....lol I'm suppose to be good at this :D

Which btw is one reason I want to put paying for a script, on the back burner. I'd much rather do it myself, and make sure it works with the rest of our proprietary software.

whoiscart got it working pretty damn well although some real problems in the beginning.

I to have been trying to do some custom work with the API to keep some resellers happy but unfortunately I never took jibberish when I was at school and am now looking at outsourcing - so if you ever crack it let me know ;)
