Dear dixiesys,

Billpoint Payment Operations has received a chargeback from
Visa for the transaction identified below. A chargeback is a
transaction reversal initiated by the cardholder with his or
her card issuing bank, arising from a customer dispute or
processing technicality.

Amount of Purchase: $ 150.00
Transaction Date: 11/19/2001
Reason for Verification: Fraud Transaction - No Cardholder Auth [BC]

Sad thing is, I was suspicious, asked Billpoint to verify it they said all the information was legitimate so I let the order through.

Now I guess I have to eat that $150 I'm sure it won't matter to BP that THEY said "yes this transaction is fully verified".

But they're gonna have to WAIT on their money, called my bank and said to absolutely NOT allow this deduction from my account, they're just gonna have to wait while I write them a check and send it in the mail :)

1 transaction with Billpoint, 1 fraud.
Thousands of transactions with Paypal and 0 fraud.

Dedicated server.

I'll stick with my 3.95 plans from now on, who'd go through the trouble of frauding one of them? hehe

Oh one thing I haven't mentioned, Billpoint had already CANCELLED MY ACCOUNT about a month ago for "giving fraudulent information" in my account creation.

They never would tell me what was "fraudulent" my name? address? bank account? They deposited to my bank account twice, Maybe I fat fingered my address who knows. I couldn't access my account info to even look! Bah who needs Billpoint anyway.
