hi all,

i have been using godaddy to register names for the past few years. but i don't want to pay the $9 whois protection anymore and i don't like using my po box as well. i want total protection from potential prying eyes. both namecheap and registerfly offer the whois protection either free or really cheap compared to godaddy.

i feel secure w/ godaddy and am worried about using either namecheap or registerfly. some reassurance would be good as well as some help in deciding between the two, ie reliability, service, support. thx

if you dont do chargebacks you're sfe with registerfly and namecheap, they have good reputation around here, search and read :)

I've used Registerfly for years and found them to be a thoroughly professional and efficient organisation.

Rfly's support is horrible. I'm starting to use namecheap more and more now.

I have been with RegisterFly for years, over 2300 names and they are excellent. The fact they provide phone support is a serious plus. They are also very large 750K names and have been around for a while
