Hi.
I noticed sth.
If you create an account in a server, then any email or traffic from any account in the same server will go to that account even if the domain name for that account is hosted somewhere else.

This is a big problem, why?

Simply, I can pick some website (which is not mine), and open an account for it in a server that carries thousands of accounts like dayanahost.com. Now, any email sent from any website on that server will be forwarded to the account I created. I will be then semi-hacking that website;;;;;;;;!!!

So, how can we work arround this problem?

Plz help.

thanks.

What OS are you running?

If you do not run your own nameservers, or do not have them automatically updated, you could avoid creating dns entries of large domains.

This is well known problem. The MTA (mail server software) gives more priority to his config files , but not DNS records. If you add @microsoft.com to your server all microsoft emails come through your box will stuck in it.

The solution is to remove this domain from MTA config files. If you specify OS & MTA installed at your server, then people will let you know the files you need to edit.
