Hi

I am playing with zen cart for weeks, and really love it. However, I found that it requires customers to sign in before checkout. Presonally I do not like to sign in, because I already have 10000 accounts I need to remember! Guess I can do a little customization to allow people choeckout without sign-in. But, just wondering do you guys know another shopping cart that does not force the sign-in procedure?

Also, zen cart may be a little to "heavy weight" for my use.

I use LiteCommerce.com and it gives the administrator the option on whether or not to require customer sign-in for purchases.

OSCommerce has an addon which will let customers purchase without creating an account. You may want to look at that.

One of our websites does not require that. The cart was actually provided by merchantaccounts4less.com and their hosting. We have been very pleased with it.

You can accomplish this with both Zen Cart and osCommerce - however, if these are too heavy for your requirements - you may want to check out phpshop...

You could also take a look at ClickCartPro. You can run it three ways:
1) No sign in at all
2) Sign in is an option
3) Forced signin

like fraudgate said, oscommerce offers you the option to turn off signup for your customers, i am currently using oscommerce, and i find it very good. And its totally free!
