So, we are in the process of moving our clients to our brand new dedicated server and I thought it would be nice if the clients had annonymous name servers, heck why not? So, I went and did a search and I was just fooling around with names to begin with and the first one I tried was nameserve.org.. to my surprise it was free. Is this just luck? or is santa being extra nice to me this year? I think its a perfect domain, I couldnt be more happy! I just had to share my joy :)

Why would you want a .org?
(unless all your clients are .org, then forgive me)

Some people really like .org domains. I can't bring myself to ever get one since one of the teachers I had in high school used to pronounce it by the letters O-R-G, but made it sound like a "group get-together". I don't think the teacher ever figured out why the class busted up laughing.

I don't see anything wrong with .org its mearly an extension, and it works the same way as a .com

Well, .org is supposed to be for non-profit organization.

A little off topic, but orgy.org is taken. As is o-r-g.org. Maybe JustinK's teacher took it. :D

Actually its not supposed to be for non-profit organizations, it was supposed to be for non-profit orgs.

I am not sure if it was or is. But I think the connotation for .org is non-profit organization. Which is the reason why I think a .org will not do a busniess as good as a .com.
