Hello all:

I'd signed up a hosting plan with this company www.macecom.com. It provides a $99.00/year hosting plan and I decided to sign up this contract with them since Oct. 2001. On Dec. 20th, 2001, the technical guy, his name is Jesse (is also the owner), terminated my account without saying anything.

When seeing my website has been down for so many hours, I tried to contact him, and he accused me that I tried to hack in every port of his system. He posted a log file that logged an IP number using my account username was trying to hack into his system. He said either I was the one who tried to hack or I gave out my username and password for someone to do it.

He refused to talk and refused to work things out. I asked for refund, and he said there's no refund for such violations.

The bottom line is: if I'm the hacker, why I have to pay $99.00 just to hack his system??? I've asked the credit card company to take legal action about this. I'm still waiting for the card company sending me some paperwork to fill out. I'm running a bulletine board of snitz forum and to what I've heard lately, this board has been hacked a lot by hackers. So stay away from macecom.com.
