I need a yearly host. I know its stupid but, im using my dads credit card to pay (and then i pay him back the money) so I dont want to have to pay him every month @_@;;

I need-

A CGI-BIN
MySQL Database
3 GBs Bandwidth
50 MBS space..
Subdomains would be nice ;)

I think the majority of hosts offer payment yearly. The added bonus of this that you usually see a heavy reduction compared to monthly bills.

ya, most hosts offer yearly payment and you should expect at least 5-10% discount for prepayment.

downtownhost.com
aletiahosting.com

These two are good and offer yearly plan.

also ask valuablehost.com to see whether they still have the yearly plan.

I'd have suggested valuablehost.com, but they have scrapped out the yearly plans. Still, try e-mailing their sales, they may still get it for you.

Otherwise, try cyberwings.com (I've not been with them personally, but have heard a lot bout them, and they are cheaper). Be cautious of the downtime though....be sure to take a look at their forums too.

You should really look around before you decide on a yearly host. Make sure that you ask some people and check out each host before you commit yourself to a one year plan.

There is many post that offer yearly rates and sometimes discounts off the orignal price. It is really hard to find something like ValuableHost and the service be good. Like Hosturbo for once there service is not good (clients have told me) and they offered yearly price. Guys you get what you pay for. So these are just my suggestions for you.

Need to change the table, but we do still do offer yearly plans. Monthly, Quarterly, semi-annual and annual all are offered.

Usually I would only recommend signing up for a monthly web hosting plan, as there is less risk involved -- if a host goes bad, you can move at any time. That said, if a host offers a full 30 day money back guarantee, that shouldn't really be a problem; if things go bad during the first 30 days, you should be able to obtain a full refund.

I would recommend WeinBar. They have a yearly special which costs $49. You can see the features at:

This is being discussed in another thread.

A lot of hosting companies will allow you to get a prorated refund, even on prepaid accounts. You can't assume that you'll be locked in when prepaying, but sometimes you are.
