Has anyone got dedicated server with Ardentcomm?? I tried to dig up some info. But can't find much. How is their uptime, connection speed, support..etc? Any negative view about them?

Well we have 4 servers 100mbps line half duplex with them for past 4 months, Efront.com used to host there servers there. There top notch BUT from what I know the just filed Chapter 11(not 100% on that) so who knows.. hopefully someone will buy them out. Network uptime has been 100% I havent had downtime with them. Cheap realible bandwidth just hope they can stay up.

Oh they used to be cais.com till a few months ago You might want to look up them if trying to get info.

Actually, they've been in chapter 11 since October 11 ( http://ardentcomm.com/news/news_01-10-11.htm ). I wouldn't sign a new contract with them at this time until they've got their financial situation under control again, if they manage to do that. Honestly I doubt they will, though.

They tell a "sales fib" on their site:

"Tier-1 OC-12/OC-3 MPLS-enabled backbone"

They are not Tier-1 by the traditional engineering definition, although it is open to interpretation (as much in life is, I may add).

I agree with former posts that if they are in financial trouble, they are hotter than a two dollar pistol and you don't want to touch them. There are too many profitable shops in town to risk your business.
