OK, I just registered 2 domain names and I think I might be in for a problem.

I registered :

avp-movie.net
ring2-themovie.net

Now, if any of you know, the .com extensions of both of those domains are the OFFICIAL websites of new the new upcomming movies "Alien vs. Predator" and "The Ring 2"

So.....should I be worried about getting a letter in the mail from an attorney representing the film studios about trademarks etc., ?

If so.....does anyone want to buy the domains from me....Im kinda worried.....

If you are worried, why did you register them in the first place?

Now I've just thrust my arm into a nest of vipers.
As you know if I'd done the same with a nest of cobra's I'd currently be looking at a lot of bites and I dare say that I'd be pretty close to death.
So - have I done the right thing?

I cannot quite believe the question here.
You've gone and registered two .net domains, the .com's are for official sites for forthcoming movies and are owned by large companies with serious amounts of money to thrown around.
I would say you were extgremely silly to register those domains and forget attempting to sell them, I'd simply prepare to hand them over and not expect to see any kind of refund on the deal.

Should I wait for them to contact me?

It might be hard for them because I had my WHOIS info blocked with the Proxy

Maybe I should call them up?

Might just as well ask for their lawyers number in that case.
To contact them implies you are trying to sell them. Think "bad faith", and they will either ignore you, or demand them (and win).

... and keep in mind that if they choose to go legal route, you're most likely to pay THEIR legal fees too.
If I were you, I'd contact them and offer these domains for free. If they accept, you might gain some credit. If they decline - you're clean and you have a proof "good faith".
