Welcome to the forum, I did a search on them through the forum, and only came up with one comment:

Im currently looking to set up a board and looking for a new host as Im currently with ************* and its been down for 12 hours now.

3 dollars a month for what they are offering is PROBABLY a rip off. Bandwidth costs between 75 cents and 5 dollars a gig, so if you use all of your bandwidth on the account, they will lose money and find a way to shut you down most probably.

I'd say keep looking.

actually I have several friends with them and theyve never been down....im thinking of going with them myself.....they are good! Just because THAT person has a bad experience, doesnt mean anything! I do have many friends with them and they are great from what they all tell me :)!

Just a guess, sorry if I am wrong... It seems that maybe roxy=wyrm=owner of ************* or somebody closely associated with that company.

Might be true, but it might nmot as well. Overselling is something a lot of hosts do and it does not mean their business idea is bad. Some sort of calculation of actual usage must be used - and that applies to most resources, not only BW. I mean what if all your clients opened 10 support tickets every day. Same sort of calculation there.

I do not calculate on profit on each and every account I got, I know some customers will cost more ( in terms of support/bw ).

I'd say keep looking.

Despite what I say above I'd agree. But for the reason that you don't know these guys. If I was turning to this type of cheap hosting I would find someone trustable - like 3-95.com. Search on these forums, Gary has even explained his business model and how his prices can be so low.
