Well someone wrote me and asked if really wrote the note quoted in the CWI firefight post......they thought CWI was making me up and since that post is closed I wanted everyone to know that I am real. See http://webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?threadid=27432&perpage=15&pagenumber=2 for the closed post......Anyways Ive read this load of BS and I wanted to put in my two cents once and for all. I have used CWI since August 2001 for a fully dynamic Java servlet/mysql database driven site. My site gets a moderate volume of traffic (I think my bandwidth last month was 9+ gig) Yes they had some MAJOR problems back in August & September, especially with my server (Thunder5) and yes we did have some major outages but they got it right in September and its been 99.9% fine since then except when some moron like the one who was screaming in the other post sucks every ounce of memory out of the server and causes a fatal crash (1 since Sept) If your reading this buddy LEARN HOW TO CODE BEFORE YOU LAUNCH A SITE! You mentioned it may have been a few connections I forgot to close..........WELL DUH, where did you learn to code, Programming for dummies? Its people like you that cause my site to go down when you do something stupid like that and it costs me money so Im damn glad they threw you off!

I didnt want to be a jerk the first (and probably last) post here but like I said this moron wrote me looking for ammunition against CWI.

CWI isnt perfect, Ive never found a host that was......especially when they are hosting sites and allowing people to code things like Java without finding out their credentials first....maybe thats the trick, show us you know what your doing before we host you. I will say though that CWI's tech support is USUALLY on the ball and their CTO's email is always open to listen if you have a legitimate grip.......if your gonna be an ass he will ignore you.....JUST LIKE HE SHOULD
