Hi I have to configure some servers and i am making a script to complete install a server with a minimal debian config installed...

I have almost finished the email server... i tried to use as much as i could the debians packqges.

so i have a qmail + vpopmail + qmailscanner + spamassassin working....

but i have a little problem...


its on the server name ( /var/qmail/control/me )

when i put a simple name like test.com it works ( the server recieves emails)

but when i put a name like prod.test.com it says

delivery 4: failure: Sorry,_no_mailbox_here_by_that_name._(#5.1.1)

my server treats this mail as local and i created with vpopmail prod.test.com as usual....

can any one help me please ?

Stupid question I know, but have to ask the obvious ;)

when I do a vuserinfo all seems ok to vpopmail...
