View Full Version : enom resellers?
radhika 07-28-2004, 08:05 AM Hi,
Can anybody list out the enom resellers? I don't want to be a reseller directly under enom (too expensive). So any reliable service providers please?
I used Registerfly.com for few days. But they didn't show much interest in setting up the good storefront (customized to my web site lay out + as their reller i can' offer more than few routine tlds).
So anybody help me out?
Thanks.
eSology 07-28-2004, 08:23 AM There is not a list that I am aware of...if there was it would be long.
Bashar 07-28-2004, 08:33 AM check Domain Name Offers and Requests (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&forumid=55) so many enom resellers give their offers there :)
sellkraft 07-30-2004, 04:48 PM One Enom reseller doing fine - www.namecheap.com, their service is terrific. Alternately you may want to try directi s reseller offer it is not expensive and the service is also pretty good.
dmaven 07-30-2004, 04:51 PM Sounds like you want a reseller plan not a retail end user. if you do not want to go with upfront dollars directi might be a good start
Arsenik101 07-30-2004, 04:56 PM I got mine from Zoli (wht member) - www.domainresell.biz - Been using it for almost a year with out any problem.
mrzippy 07-31-2004, 02:39 PM Yes, if you put an "Ad" in the offers & requests forum you will get a number of responses.
Be sure to be very careful about whom you select as your "parent".
eSology 07-31-2004, 02:53 PM I agree. Do a search on the user before you sign under someone. You'll be amazed at what you can see about people. On another forum there was a person selling 7.95 eNom accounts and if you did a search you could see that 2 weeks prior they were asking what an eNom reseller was all about. Funny stuff until you get shafted with poor support.
radhika 07-31-2004, 04:00 PM So anybody tell me few members of WHT (ETPs), who can give domain reseller accounts for $7.95 or less?
How much customization of the web site allowed?
How to find a person actually ETP or sub-account under an ETP?
Thanks.
Bashar 07-31-2004, 07:29 PM u can't know if he is an ETP or not without contacting enom and asking
or u may trust and go with him based on reputation :)
eSology 07-31-2004, 09:12 PM I always recommend people to create the account (most people offer them for free) and then contact eNom and ask if your newly created id is under an ETP or under a sub-account. Some people who claim to be an ETP truly aren't.

eSology 07-31-2004, 09:27 PM Wrong. If you create a sub-account and then call eNom they will tell you yes or no if the account is directly under an ETP or not. They don't release the name of the parent account but they will in fact give you the information. I'm glad because a) it confirms to the person what they are getting and b) if eNom doesn't release personal information what are the doing wrong?
I asked Matt Stearn (VP) a month ago if the would post a page on their website with a list of approved ETPs just like ICANN does with accredited registrars. He said yes so it looks like I need to follow-up on my request.

Bashar 08-01-2004, 03:26 AM great idea indeed :)
captain-d 08-01-2004, 08:56 AM Acts837, I think that is a great idea. Thank you for suggesting and following up on it.
