Has someone this thing in use? For me the URLīs it creates are all invalid because they use a "," for the currency instaed of a ".". So when clicking it PayPal gives an error and the tool is pretty useless. Is there any new version of it around ?

Thanks.

It seems to me that I remember that it is just a regular URL? I mean that is what is usually given, or are you using: http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/sell/payment_wizard_intro-outside

Yes, I am using the payment wizzard for outlook, which can be found at the link youīve posted. And the URLīs it creates are invalid because they use "," as a separation in the currency field instead of a "." (4,99 instead 4.99). So I always have to edit the URLīs at the payment button it created, so that this tool does not really make any sense.

Just give it a try and youīll see, it is easy to de-install too.

I just tried it:
<p class=MsoNormal align=center style='text-align:center'><font size=3
face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'><a
href="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_xclick&amp;business=crbryant%40mydomain%2Ecom&amp;amount=4%2E99&amp;item_name=test&amp;currency_code=USD&amp;no_shipping=1&amp;pbtype=general&amp;bn=paywiz4mso-001.000&amp;mrb=R-4VT64848FL959270J"><span
style='text-decoration:none'><img border=0 width=73 height=44 id="_x0000_i1025"
src="https://www.paypal.com/images/btn/btn_xclickPayNowCC_73x44.gif"
alt="Pay now"></span></a><o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
And it worked for me. It used the period (%2E). What currency are you using?

This is the link it creates when I create a Service Invoice:

https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_ext-enter&redirect_cmd=_xclick&first_name=Hans&last_name=Customer&business=test%40test%2Ecom&amount=49%2C00&currency_code=USD&item_name=Mastering+your+music&no_shipping=1&pbtype=service&bn=paywiz4mso-001.000&mrb=R-4VT64848FL959270J

Here is the link that it created for me using service:

<a
href="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_xclick&amp;business=crb%40mydomain%2Ecom&amp;amount=4%2E99&amp;currency_code=USD&amp;item_name=&amp;no_shipping=1&amp;pbtype=service&amp;bn=paywiz4mso-001.000&amp;mrb=R-4VT64848FL959270J">

It still works - does not create a comma. Have you unistalled it, downloaded it again? I cannot re-create the comma for any given currency either.

I just re-downloaded it from the link you gave me. Still the same!:

"https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_ext-enter&redirect_cmd=_xclick&first_name=Test&last_name=Test&business=sales%40xarcmastering%2Ecom&amount=49%2C00&currency_code=EUR&item_name=Mastering&no_shipping=1&pbtype=service&bn=paywiz4mso-001.000&mrb=T5GXBG9B9EJRJ"

Can you send me the .exe of the setup you used to info@xarcmastering.com ?

This is annoying :(

Thank you. Íf the problem still exists, the only thing I can think of would be the German Language settings in Windows XP. But how would that influence the "," or the "."

Iīll see.

Thank you.

That was something I was thinking. Do the Germans (or others) use the comma instead of the period? Maybe check the currency settings on the computer?

Hi Correy.

Iīve received it. Actually we also use "." but I remember PayPal switched to "," instead of "." a while ago and then back again to "."

So I tought the Outlook Wizzard is just outdated.

Well however, the same with the EXE youīve sent me. Look here:

http://www.xarcmastering.com/1.GIF (note that I donīt enter the "," myself. I just enter "49" and when I go to the next field, it makes "49,00" out of it.

http://www.xarcmastering.com/2.GIF

And this is the URL it creates:

https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_ext-enter&redirect_cmd=_xclick&first_name=Hans&last_name=Test&business=sales%40xarcmastering%2Ecom&amount=49%2C00&currency_code=USD&item_name=Mastering&no_shipping=1&pbtype=service&bn=paywiz4mso-001.000&mrb=T5GXBG9B9EJRJ

Any ideas left?

Ha, got it. It was indeed the global setting for currencies in Windows, it had a "," instead of a "."

Works now and thanks for your patience ;)

:) No worries. Don't you hate it when something irritating is a simple fix.

Lorenz

Yes! Especially I donīt see the point why the programmers of this Outlook Wizzward considered to use the Windows settings for this when they knew PayPal would not support anything else then a "."

Omg!
