Being a Gold Partner with Plesk, and going through contracts.

You are not aloud to do this as you probably know

MODERATORS:

Why don't *you* contact Plesk and make them aware of the situation, so they can then deal with it as they see fit?

I think it's a little much to assume that everyone has the same contracts with Plesk.

Are these pricing available only to ubersmith user or to anyone?

Thanks,

Peter

Wise words, Travis, wise words.

The problem was reported to Plesk

And also the core of the contracts are all the same for Plesk resellers.

Simply you can not sell Plesk at discounted Prices to customers outside your datacenter and or not your clients.

So Travis maybe before you state a comment about rules and regulations, you should at least no what those are and how they apply

Joe, I made no comment whatsoever about Plesk's "rules and regulations." I simply said that you cannot assume that Plesk uses the same contracts for everybody. Have they told you that they use the same contracts for everybody? Have they promised you that they won't make a different deal with Voxel than they did with you?

Initially teck it wasnt like that

Other Partners complained to plesk about it, so it was changed

Travis, my point is if you would know how plesks systems works it is there policy that you can not sell out side your datacenter

This is a rule that is standard and part of there Partner agreement. So Plesk would not make this deal with anyone company. If they did do that they would screw there other Partners, which is something they dont want to do

So plesk may make different deals on pricing and what not, but they are pretty firm with there rules on whom you can and cannot sell to.

As you can see this post was changed to only there customers

I have no knowledge to add to either Voxel's post or to Joe's comments.

But I certainly feel it would be a good idea for us to sell and let sell and encourage healthy competition...

WHT posts of late have a tendency to metamorphose into arguments and I think we should all work together to avoid it

This is not in particular about this post but this post is as good a place as any to say this, is what the Fool thinks..

Mods pls feel free to trim this off if its improper

Have a good day all of you and happy holidays

Cheers
Balaji
