Lorenz 07-27-2004, 09:17 PM I also donīt get it. The site says nothing about that PayPal lost something and I also donīt understand what exactly the site is about. SLH-Ken 07-27-2004, 10:42 PM How exactly does this site say paypal lost? Looks like its a site trying to get people to partake in the class action lawsuit, nothing more. WCHost 07-28-2004, 04:59 AM I got that email regarding that thing...to an email that I never checked....Remember PayPal let you set several emails, it sent to a non-primary email address @@ servermaze 07-28-2004, 08:17 AM Paypal decided to settle the lawsuit, that's why everyone got an email. I think it applies more to the people who's account was suspended or if their access to account was denied in a past. Dave Zan 07-28-2004, 09:38 AM Sorry for the confusion, everyone. :( Here's the front & end of it as quoted from this thread: http://domainstate.com/showthread.php3?threadid=30676 "If you are an account holder from October 1999 - Jan 2004 and i) experienced or reported to PayPal an unauthorized or incorrect electronic transfer to or from their PayPal account including, without limitation, electronic transfers initiated by (a) the Fund Claimant; (b) PayPal in connection with, among other things, chargebacks, refunds, buyer complaints, PayPal's Seller Protection Policy, Buyer Complaint Process and/or Buyer Protection Policy; or (c) any third party; (ii) had access to their PayPal account improperly, incorrectly or erroneously limited or restricted, in whole or in part; (iii) made a request for information in connection with PayPal's restriction or limitation of the Fund Claimant's PayPal account or regarding an incorrect or unauthorized electronic transfer to which PayPal did not respond at all or did not respond to the Fund Claimant's satisfaction. File a claim at https://www.paypal.com/settlement/ Resident in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, or United Kingdom are excluded. So, justice did finally catch up with PayPal." That secure link from paypal redirects to the first link I posted above. Hope that clarifies it. Again, I apologize. :( openXS 07-28-2004, 11:02 AM I think everyone on this planet wants to file a claim @ http://www.settlement4onlinepayments.com/ :P It timesout and dislpays a 404 to me for now!! barbesho 07-30-2004, 12:57 AM I also just received it right now, what's this about. |
