It's up and down every 5 minutes .. it's like a yoyo.

It was a power outage caused by electricians working at their NOC... Check the RackShack forums.

that is about as good as when the guy on the phone says write out a trouble ticket on the site after i get done saying hte site is down and so is theres ???
duhhh the site is down so can not access the ticket or the forums ;)

I worked not long ago for a huge internet company that we had a shi*load of servers and DS3, T1s and massive backup servers you know the cool ones with robotic arms and stuff...

We had people working outside cutting the street up for the new hotel comming in next door and sooner or later soon enough they cut one of the lines! hahahaah we had UPSes but only for like 1 hour or so for our many servers. We had like 300 employees and like 400 visitors that day. Jacked up cuz we had to kick all visitors out for 'security' issues and some of the stupid stuff... It was fun.

One other time the smoke alarm went out and freaked everyone out with this loud loud and flashing white lights like a camera blinking telling us to get out. When fire alarm or electricity go down some of the doors or all should automaticly unlock to where some would lock! HAHAHA get stuck inside and fry...

I think they spent way too much money on hardware and stuff they didn't need and that's why they went down the tube... another .com gone .cum or .org

I thought of hosting with them, But I don't think it really takes $300 dollars to setup a stincking rack server so I decided to go with ServerRack.Net and not Shack. I get the same thing for cheaper / month, lesser setup fee and I didn't find any bad threads on serverrack but I did on servershack.

The last thing I want is convince my clients to terminate their hosting plans with "www.innerhost.com" or some other sites to go with me so I can crash their site every day @ 12:30am or early early morning.
